Nicholas Amodio (Reporter/Felix/Roman Soldier) Nicholas is thrilled to be performing in
Hudson Classical Theater Company’s production of Coriolanus. He is a neurodiverse actor
and cartoonist from Floral Park, NY. Nick graduated from Adelphi University in 2023 with a
BFA in Theater Performance. Past theater credits include: Romeo and Juliet (Romeo), Peter
and the Starcatcher (Peter), The Hound of the Baskervilles (Henry Baskerville). Film credits
include “John” (Ryan), and “Older Brothers” (Chip). Nicholas would like to thank Nicholas
Martin- Smith and Susane Lee for this amazing experience, this incredible cast, and his
wonderfully supportive family.
*Bruce Barton (Meninius Agrippa) Bruce is thrilled to be making his ninth Hudson Classical
Theater Company appearance, but the first in five years. He was in, among others, The
Winter’s Tale (as Leontes), The Three Musketeers, Henry V, and The Merry Wives of Windsor.
An HCTC company member since 2014, he has also performed with Gorilla Rep, Jean
Cocteau Rep, Riverside Shakespeare, and the Blue Coyote Theater Company, as well as
numerous regional theaters. He was also featured in the independent film “Paradise East.”
*David Palmer Brown (Brutus) David is a grateful company member of Hudson Classical
Theater Company, last performing three roles with the company in 2023’s Margaret:
Shakespeare’s Warrior Queen. He was also seen in 2022’s production of Macbeth as Duncan
and Siward. Other roles include the gregarious Porthos in The Three Musketeers 20 Years
Later (2018) and The Man in the Iron Mask (2019); the title roles in King Lear (2013) and
King John (2014); Polonius in (2009) and the Ghost (2018) in productions of Hamlet; de
Guiche in Cyrano (2010); Sorin in The Seagull (2011); Capulet in Romeo & Juliet (2010);
and Camillo in The Winter’s Tale (2014). A graduate of the MFA acting program at Catholic
University, he has been acting in New York for 30 years.
Fever Hawk Browne (Cominius) This is Fever Hawk’s first production with Hudson
Classical Theater Company and his New York City debut. Fever’s last theatrical appearance
was in The Play That Goes Wrong and he is currently in the production for the episodic series
Pressure. Fever wants to thank his family and friends for their love and support.
J. Robert Coppola (Anton/Cameraman/Volscian Soldier/Blood Designer) Joe has been
fighting his way through the Tri-State Area for the last 16 years, performing with and
choreographing for numerous shows, theater companies, and festivals. His work has won
accolades across the country, including an Independent Horror Movie Awards nomination
for Best Kill for the 2017 thriller, "The Moose Head Over The Mantel" and several action
awards for "The Hunted: NYCSS" (also with our amazing fight team). He continues to work
and train from his home in Brooklyn, where he is also a theatrical technician and bartender.
*Benjamin Farmer (Martius Coriolanus) Benjamin’s Hudson Classical Theater Company’s

*Annette Fox (Sicinius) Annette is excited to work with Hudson Classical Theater
Company this summer! Since 2018 she has performed for HCTC as: the Duchess of
Gloucester, in Margaret: Shakespeare’s Warrior Queen, Madame de St.Marins/Heloise, in
the Count of Monte Cristo, Queen Anne of Austria, in The Man in the Iron Mask, and

*Joshua Gutierrez (Tullus Aufidius) Joshua was last seen in Fun and Games, a play by
Claude Solnikc, directed by Justin Bennett at Theater for the New City. Before the
pandemic, Joshu was a puppeteer for Pip’s Island, an Off-Broadway interactive children’s
theatre show that ended in January 2020. He also performed in readings of the play Miss
American Bellyflop, written by Iriasa Ann Reilly and directed by Aimee Todoroff at the
Chain Theater, and 7 Guys Round About 40, a play written by Laurence David Laufer and
directed by Ellen Cheney at Teatro LATEA. Coriolanus is actually his favorite
Shakespeare play.
Ashley Hill (Titus) Native to New York City, Ashley first began performing in the church
choir of St. Johns Baptist Church at the age of four years old. In middle school and high
school, she remained active in theatre and chorus and band clubs (where she dabbled with
the clarinet). Ashley has since trained professionally with graduates of the Manhattan
School of Music, and her education is primarily based on experience. Her credits include
works in short films, commercials, T.V., and Off-Broadway. She is currently represented by
Prestige Management Group. When not performing, be found teaching Pilates Mat, Yoga,
and dedicating her spare time to taking care of animals.
Danny Houk (Denarius/Tacitus/Roman Soldier) Danny is thrilled to be a part of this
talented cast for Coriolanus. Other credits include 12th Night and Captain Placeholder (an
original work) with Greenhouse Ensemble. He is a proud graduate of the T. Schreiber

*Travis James (Gaius/Albus/Boris/Roman Soldier) Travis is truly humbled to be back
with Hudson Classical Theater Company. Previous works with the company include
Antony & Cleopatra, Romeo & Juliet, and most recently, in Margaret: Shakespeare’s
Warrior Queen. Other credits include Murder on the Orient Express (McCarter Theater),
Lettice & Lovage (Westport Country Playhouse), and Taming of the Shrew (Connecticut
Free Shakespeare). His previous NY credits include Letter of Intention (Strawberry One-
Act Festival), Battle for Central Park (Dixon Place/The Tank), and the film “Introvert’s
Guide to Activism,” which has been shown at numerous film festivals across the U.S.

*Roxann Kraemer (Volumnia) Roxann is a Company Member with HCTC where she
has had the privilege of playing some wonderful roles including Arkadina in The
Seagull, Queen Elizabeth in Richard III, Kent in King Lear, Paulina in The Winter's
Tale, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Leontine in Triumph of Love, Hecuba in
Trojan Women, the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet, Mrs.Bennet in Pride and Prejudice,
Mistress Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor, John of Gaunt/Duchess of York in
Richard II, and Lady Olivia Surface in The School for Scandal. Roxann has performed

Ashley Riboul (Helena/Cassio/Roman Soldier) Ashley is a New York based actor and
performer from Newburgh, NY. Past credits include: Annie Brown’s 5th Grade Science
Presentation (SoHo Playhouse), Revolution 10 (The Chain Theatre), Cymbeline (Hofstra
University ), The Revolutionists (Hofstra University), and Barbecue (Hofstra University).
She would love to thank her family for the love and support, as well as Hudson Classical
Theater Company for making her first Shakespeare in the park experience delightful!
Stephen Solow (Demetrius/Milos/Volscian Soldier/Fight Captain) Stephen began
training under Jared Kirby (Fight Director) in 2013 as a Classical & Historical Fencer,
and soon after in Combat for Stage and Screen. While training under Jared, Stephen’s
Fine Arts background led to him studying how to make swords. He continues to train in
historical & classical fencing as well as training and working as a Fighter through New
York Combat for Stage & Screen. Stephen credits include Hudson Classical Theater
Company’s Macbeth and Margaret: Shakespeare’s Warrior Queen for which he was also
the Armorer. Stephen is the Fight Captain for Coriolanus. Stephen’s other acting credits
are “BPM”, “The Hunted: NYCSS,”and “The Wandering Earth 2.”
Kristina Swearingen (Adriana/Senator Jesic/Volscian Soldier) Kristina is thrilled to be
making her New York City debut with Hudson Classical Theater Company! She is a proud
graduate of the University of Mobile (BM and MA in Musical Theatre). In addition to
performing, Kristina works as a scenic designer and choreographer. Select credits: The

*Jennifer G. R. Tulchin (Lady Valeria/Tamara/Portia/ Volscian Soldier) Jennifer is
overjoyed to be making her Hudson Classical Theater Company debut. She performs
professionally in NYC and regionally, onstage and on- camera. Her top three favorite

*Cindy Xu (Virgilia/Roman Soldier) Cindy is a NYC-based actor hailing from Vancouver,
BC! She has originated wacky roles in Legend of the Chalk Circle (Off-Bway) and The
Doom That Came to Burger Slime (Off-Bway). She also collaborates with The Fool Volk
in experimental and devised performance works. Other Shakespeare credits include
Tamora in Titus Andronicus, Celia in As You Like It, and the Witches in Macbeth. Cindy
is also the Co-Founder of Lighthouse Ladies, a women-founded production company
committed to amplifying minoritized voices and making the industry a more empathetic
place. BFA: NYU Tisch Drama. Her favorite Shakespeare line is “What you egg!”
Nicholas Martin-Smith (Director) Nicholas has performed in and directed many Hudson
Classical Theater Company’s productions, a company he founded in 2004. Acting credits
include this past June’s production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare
(abridged), Walter Burns in His Girl Friday, the title roles in TITUS and MACBETH,
Aramis in The Three Musketeers: 20 Years Later and The Man in the Iron Mask. He has
appeared Off-Broadway as Frank Deluca in The Rise of Dorothy Hale at St. Luke’s
Theatre and as Harrison Brent in Perfect Crime at the Snapple Theatre Center. Also Off
Broadway as Angelo in Measure for Measure (Soho Rep), and Mark Anthony in Julius
Caesar (Douglas Fairbanks). Nicholas is the recipient of the “Monroe Lippman
Founder’s Award for Acting,” and a “Best of Boston” Award for David Mamet’s Edmond
in which he played the title role
Joe Hamel (Co-Director) Joe’s selected acting credits include the role of Larry in
Austin Pendelton’s Orson’s Shadow directed by Taibi Magar at Queens Theatare in the
Park, Messer Nicia in Machiavelli’s The Mandrake at the Pearl Theatre, and Francois in
Consider the Lillies with Austin Pendleton for House Red Co. For Hudson Classical
Theater Company, Joe has played the role of Roweley in The School for Scandal, and
the title role of Cyrano in his own adaptation. His modern verse adaptation of Tartuffe
was a semi-finalist for the National Playwrights Conference and he directed Chekhov’s

Connor Kopko (Production Stage Manager) Growing up just across the river, Connor
found his love for theater upon moving to New York, and is excited to work on
Coriolanus. Recent work includes The Thorn: Live Tour, All My Sons, Blueprint, and
Everyday Charlie. Connor continually searches for ways to tell unique stories, and
thanks God for the opportunities that allow him to do so!
Ila Finn (Assistant Stage Manager) Ila is a writer and designer from California who is
working towards a BFA in Dramatic Writing at NYU Tisch. Recent credits include:

People Play Festival, Stage Manager), Don’t Kill The Human (Broke People Play Festival

Jared Kirby (Fight Director) who has been involved in Combat for Stage & Screen and Western Martial Arts for nearly 30 years. He choreographs & teaches across the US and around the world (jaredkirby.com).
Tony Mita (Fight Director) has been training & working in this art for over 13 years and is driven by a mix of his passions for historical martial arts and nerd culture to create a blend of martially realistic with out-of-this-world fantastical in his work.
Olivia Ball (Asst Fight Director) has been training with NYCSS for 5 years, and loves the empowering and collaborative nature of fight work--from classic swashbuckling to super-powered punches; she also loves passing on her favorite moves to her Drama students at the Brearley School
Henry Nunez (Production Intern) Henry is a rising sophomore at Columbia University
and Excited to be interning with Hudson Classical Theater Company this summer! He is
majoring in English and primarily involved in theatre through his college’s student theatre
organizations, where he has previously acted as an assistant director and a dramaturg.
Susane Lee (Executive Artistic Director)
Susane is a director and writer and has adapted for the stage many classical works
including Alexandre Dumas’s tetralogy of The Three Musketeers, The Three
Musketeers: 20 Years Later, The Man in the Iron Mask, and The Count of Monte Cristo.
She recently directed The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) this past
June and previous, The Comedy of Errors. She has adapted and directed Jane Austen’s
Pride & Prejudice. Susane has also adapted Austen’s Sense & Sensibility, and her
adaptation of Emma was set in the 1950’s in Newport, Rhode Island. As a lifetime
Member of the Writers Guild of America,
East, Susane has directed screenplays for the Guild at the Lincoln Film Center. Susane
was a two-time nominee for Best Director for the Take Ten Festival and directed plays
for Women 365. As a Producer/Writer for PBS/Channel 13 in NYC for 15 years, she
traveled to more than 100 cities across the U.S., producing and writing one-hour
documentaries. Susane received a PBS Communication Award, was awarded a NY
Foundation for the Arts Fellowship for Nonfiction Literature in 2005, and published a
memoir for MORE magazine. Susane was a Finalist for the Wai Look Award, given by
the Asian American Arts Alliance for those “who outstandingly contributed to the arts.”
